By using this telemedicine service, you agree and acknowledge to the following:

 

1. Limitations of Telemedicine – while doctors will endeavour to provide the same quality and standard of care as in-person medical care, there are limitations to telemedicine. These include, but are not limited, to (i) the inability to conduct a physical examination (e.g. auscultation with a stethoscope), (ii) technological limitations (video image quality, transmission lag), etc. 
    

2. You will be referred to a doctor for a physical consultation if, (i) you have red-flag symptoms which are not suitable for telemedicine consultation, (ii) your condition is an emergency, (iii) the video or audio quality is consistently poor.
    

3. Red-flag symptoms indicate a condition that is not suitable for telemedicine. These include, but are not limited, to the following:

   • chest pain

   • breathing difficulties

   • recurrent vomiting

   • neurological symptoms, e.g.: visual disturbances, dizziness and imbalance, weakness or numbness of face or limbs

   • pregnancy-related complications

   • severe and persistent abdominal pain

   • prolonged fever of more than 3 days

   • severe injuries
      

4. All minors under the age of 16 should be seen together with their parent/guardian. All patients without agency will not be seen without their caregiver. The doctor reserves the right to reject a patient without agency in the absence of a caregiver who can communicate effectively with the doctor.​
    

5. You have completed and submitted the MOH health declaration form. 
    

6. All teleconsultations are private paid without subsidy. You will be contacted phone call, WhatsApp or Zoom. Any MCs or memos will be sent via e-mail or WhatsApp.
    

7. You consent to the collection, use and/or disclosing of your personal data for the purpose of provision of telemedicine and related services. PanCare Medical takes data protection seriously. Our telemedicine consultation is conducted in accordance with stringent Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) and medical confidentiality requirements. Personal identifiable data will be used solely for the purpose of delivery and coordination of patient care.
